Isoctane is a flash point liquid in Class 3.2, belonging to Class I hazardous chemicals, flammable and explosive vapor and air can form explosive mixtures. In case of open fire, high heat energy caused combustion explosion. Strong oxidizing agents will cause combustion and explosion. Its vapor is heavier than air, can spread to a considerable distance at a lower place, in the event of an open flame will lead back to ignition.
